Origin Birth started from a passion for supporting motherhood and has blossomed into so much more. I began with offering birth photography and have continued to nurture my passion for birthing mothers by training to become a doula and lactation counselor. My hope is to one day add more passionate, Christian doulas to the team! We are continuing to grow and develop our skills so stay up to date with us as we transform. We have a deep desire to serve underprivileged women and to equip them to serve mothers as well.

WHAT IS A DOULA?

A doula is a trained professional who provides continuous physical, emotional and informational support to a mother before, during and shortly after childbirth to help her achieve the healthiest, most satisfying experience possible.

WHY DO I NEED A DOULA?

Countless scientific trials examining doula care demonstrate remarkably improved physical and psychological outcomes for both mother and baby. Doulas have a positive impact on the well-being of the entire family.
